Combination Alarms

The need for a base station varies by the model within the X-Sense Smart Home Security Systems (and you can find a note about it on the specific product page):

1. Devices Requiring Base Station: Models such as the STH51 thermo-hygrometer, SWS51 water leak detector, and SMA11 Mailbox Alert need the X-Sense Base Station (SBS50) for full functionality, connectivity, and access to features like real-time alerts and system management.
2. Devices with Built-in Connectivity: Products like the SSC0A security camera and Wi-Fi model (such as SC07-WX) have built-in connectivity, allowing them to interface directly with the X-Sense app without needing a base station. This setup provides ease of use and flexibility.
3. Devices Capable of Independent Operation: The XH02-M Heat Alarm, XS01-M and XS0B-MR Smoke Alarms, XP0A-MR Smoke&CO Combination Alarm and XC01-M Carbon Monoxide Alarm can function independently for basic alarm needs. For advanced features such as app notifications or remote settings management, a base station is necessary.
