Easy setup

I’ve order 2 sets, one for my residence and one for my daughter. Piece of mind was the main reason, long battery life and a glacé at the phone to know all is well. Setup is an easy, just label each one and setup in app before hanging up. Recently wife called 911 because are old unit said carbon monoxide when it was just a low battery. Will not happen with this setup.

Interconnected but doesn't alert all stations

When connected to the base station if one alarm goes off the other sensors do not alarm.

Excellent Detectors and Easy to Setup and Install

Excellent customer service and superb products. I am totally impressed with the SC07-MR combination Smoke/CO detectors and base station. Set up is exceptionally easy! They look to be solidly built and though unobtrusive, are attractive to look at. I like the fact that the LED and LCD displays are not constantly on. Not only saves battery power and extends battery life, but not an annoying bright light to look at in the middle of the night.

I am replacing 8 Nest detectors that have served well but seem to be quitting early ahead of their expected lives. And most inconveniently, they are quitting in the middle of the night with a persistent failure alarm that cannot be silenced or extended with the app as I had expected would be possible. And they are high up on a peaked ceiling. Argh!

Extremely easy to set up

Best interconnected smoke alarm system available

I bought a system with a sbs50 and 14 sco7-mr for my 4 unit apartment building. I needed a system that could identify 4 different kitchens, living rooms, master bedrooms, etc. it is an old 1800’s brick building with an addition so it is fairly large with a triple brick wall separating the middle of the building. I put the base station in one apartment, attached all 14 alarms to the base and labeled them in the app. Signal strength shows in the app and when deployed, the mesh created by the detectors gave me full bars of signal strength for the detectors going from 3rd floors to basement areas. Testing with live smoke in a detector, all smokes were screaming, everyone’s app was signaling, you could tell exactly where the issue was in the building. This system is exactly what we needed!!
Well designed and works as intended and at a reasonable price point. We had First Alert wireless interconnected and struggled with 3am false alarms for 18 mos- they are in a box headed for the dumpster.
